Flatbread Base
- 2 flatbreads (about 14.5 oz total)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
Toppings
- ½ cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1½ cups diced cooked chicken (rotisserie or leftover)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- â…“ cup blue cheese dressing
Garnish
- â…“ cup sliced green onions
Instructions
- Preheat Oven & Prepare Flatbreads: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the flatbreads on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the edges lightly with olive oil and bake for 5 minutes to crisp slightly.
- Assemble the Flatbreads: Remove the flatbreads from the oven. Spread buffalo wing sauce evenly over each flatbread. Top with diced cooked chicken and shredded mozzarella cheese. Drizzle blue cheese dressing over the top.
- Bake Until Golden: Bake the assembled flatbreads for 12-15 minutes until the edges turn golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. For an extra crispy cheese topping, broil the flatbreads for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Garnish & Serve: Remove the flatbreads from the oven. Sprinkle sliced green onions over the top and optionally drizzle additional buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing. Slice into portions and serve hot for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken or leftover cooked chicken to save time.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce according to your spice preference.
- Broiling at the end is optional but adds a nice crispy finish.
- Flatbreads can be used as a quick pizza base substitute for convenience.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated in the oven to maintain crispness.
