Perfect for spring celebrations and Easter parties, this no-bake snack combines crunchy popcorn with vibrant candy coatings for a fun and delicious treat that’s easy to make and sure to delight all ages.

Ingredients

Scale

Popcorn

  • 20 cups Popped Popcorn (approximately 2 microwave bags or 3/4 cups kernels popped)

Candy Coatings

  • 1 bag Candy Melts in assorted colors (White, Pink, Yellow, Blue, & Purple; 12 ounces each)

Add-ins and Decorations

  • 1 bag Easter M&M’s
  • Easter Sprinkles (quantity as desired, approximately 1/2 cup)

Instructions

  1. Pop the popcorn: Pop your popcorn using microwave bags or stovetop method and place the 20 cups of popped popcorn into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Melt white candy melts: Following package instructions, melt the white candy melts until smooth and pourable.
  3. Coat popcorn with melted white candy: Pour the melted white candy over the popcorn and stir gently to thoroughly coat the popcorn pieces.
  4. Add sprinkles: Sprinkle half of your Easter sprinkles onto the coated popcorn and stir to evenly distribute.
  5. Mix in Easter M&M’s: Add the Easter M&M’s to the popcorn mixture and stir until combined.
  6. Press mixture into pan: Transfer and press the popcorn mixture firmly into a pan to form an even layer and let it set for about 10 minutes to firm up.
  7. Melt colored candy melts: Place each color of candy melts (pink, yellow, blue, purple) into separate bowls and melt according to package directions until smooth.
  8. Drizzle colored candy melts: Spoon and drizzle the colorful melted candy melts over the popcorn mixture, adding visual appeal and extra sweetness. Allow the drizzled candy to set for 10 to 15 minutes.
  9. Serve or package: Once fully set, transfer the Bunny Bait popcorn back into a serving bowl or portion into plastic baggies for gifting or storing.

Notes

  • Use fresh popcorn for the crunchiest texture.
  • Be careful not to overheat candy melts to prevent clumping.
  • Press popcorn mixture firmly into the pan to help it hold together.
  • You can customize with different candy or sprinkles depending on season or preference.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
