Description

This Fresh Lemon Ginger Detoxifying Smoothie is a refreshing, nutrient-packed beverage perfect for a quick health boost. Combining frozen tropical fruits with zesty lemon, invigorating ginger, and nourishing ingredients like collagen peptides and chia seeds, this smoothie supports detoxification and hydration. Perfect for breakfast or a revitalizing snack, it blends easily to a smooth, creamy texture with the subtle sweetness of honey and the tropical flavor of coconut milk.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 1/2 cup frozen peaches
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango

Liquids

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk (carton)
  • juice of 1 whole large lemon

Flavorings & Sweeteners

  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 tablespoon raw honey (or alternative sweetener)

Optional Supplements

  • 2 tablespoons collagen peptides or plant-based protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients. Gather all ingredients and ensure your frozen fruits are ready and measured properly to ensure a balanced texture and flavor.
  2. Combine Frozen Fruits and Coconut Milk. In a high-speed blender, add the frozen peaches, pineapple, mango, then pour in the coconut milk to provide the blendable liquid base.
  3. Add Flavorings and Supplements. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, lemon zest, grated ginger, honey or sweetener, and any optional ingredients like chia seeds or protein powder to boost nutrition.
  4. Blend Until Smooth. Blend all ingredients on high speed for about 1 minute, or until the mixture reaches a smooth and creamy consistency. If necessary, add more coconut milk to adjust thickness to your liking.
  5. Serve Immediately. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy fresh to benefit from all the nutrients and vibrant flavors.

Notes

  • You can substitute raw honey with maple syrup or agave for a vegan option.
  • Adding chia seeds increases fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, but they can be omitted for a thinner texture.
  • For a protein boost, use collagen peptides or your favorite plant-based protein powder.
  • If preferred, fresh fruits can be used instead of frozen but the smoothie will be less chilled and thicker.
  • Adjust sweetness and tartness by tweaking honey and lemon quantity according to your taste.
