Description

Refreshing and creamy Frozen Mango Yogurt Pops made with ripe mangoes, Greek yogurt, and a touch of honey. These popsicles are perfect for a healthy summer treat, combining the natural sweetness of mango with the tanginess of yogurt, enhanced by a hint of lemon juice.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the mangoes: Place the peeled and chopped mangoes into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth, ensuring there are no lumps.
  2. Add remaining ingredients: Add the plain Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the blender. Blend again until all ingredients are fully combined into a creamy mixture.
  3. Pour into molds: Carefully pour the mango yogurt mixture into popsicle molds, leaving some space at the top to allow for expansion as they freeze.
  4. Insert sticks and freeze: Place the popsicle sticks into the molds and transfer them to the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until the popsicles are completely solid.
  5. Unmold the popsicles: To easily remove the popsicles from the molds, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds and gently pull out the frozen treats.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey or maple syrup according to taste.
  • For an extra tangy flavor, increase the lemon juice slightly.
  • Ensure to leave some space in the molds to prevent popsicles from cracking during freezing.
  • Store leftover popsicles in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week.
