- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup water

Instructions
- Prepare the potatoes: Peel and cut 6 medium potatoes into cubes then place them evenly at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Make the sauce: In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, water, and one packet of Lipton onion soup mix. Stir well until the soup mix is fully dissolved and incorporated.
- Coat the potatoes: Pour the butter and onion soup mixture over the cubed potatoes, making sure they are evenly coated with the sauce.
- Season: Add salt and pepper to taste, then gently stir the potatoes to distribute the seasoning throughout.
- Cook slowly: Cover the slow cooker and cook on the low setting for 4 to 5 hours, or until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
- Finish and serve: Once cooked, give the potatoes a good stir to mix all flavors evenly before serving warm.
Notes
- Use Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes for best texture and flavor.
- Adjust the amount of butter according to your preference for richness.
- For a thicker sauce, you can reduce the water slightly or cook uncovered for the last 30 minutes.
- Adding fresh herbs like parsley or chives when serving can enhance the flavor.
- Carefully taste before adding salt since the onion soup mix can be salty.
