Ingredients
Scale
Graham Cracker Layer
- 19 oz graham crackers
Pudding Mixture
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 (3.4 oz) packages Vanilla Instant Pudding mix
- 2 1/2 cups cold milk
Whipped Cream Layer
- 12 oz Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream)
Fruit Layers
- 3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
Topping
- 2 oz white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Beat cream cheese and dry pudding mixes: In a large bowl, use a mixer to beat the softened cream cheese together with the dry vanilla instant pudding mixes until well blended and smooth.
- Gradually beat in milk: Slowly add the cold milk to the cream cheese and pudding mixture, continuing to beat until the mixture is thoroughly combined and smooth.
- Stir in Cool Whip: Gently fold in the Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream into the pudding mixture, reserving about half a cup of Cool Whip for the topping layer.
- Layer the dessert: Spread a thin layer of the reserved Cool Whip evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan. Then create alternating layers: start with graham crackers, followed by the pudding mixture, then a layer of fresh sliced strawberries and blueberries. Repeat these layers until the pan is filled, ensuring the top layer is the remaining Cool Whip.
- Refrigerate: Cover the assembled dessert and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight. This allows the graham crackers to soften and the flavors to meld beautifully.
- Drizzle with white chocolate: Before serving, gently melt the white chocolate chips until smooth and drizzle them artistically over the top of the dessert for an elegant and delicious finishing touch.
Notes
- You can substitute homemade whipped cream for Cool Whip for a fresher flavor.
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps in the pudding mixture.
- For added texture, consider layering crushed graham crackers instead of whole sheets.
- Use fresh, ripe berries for the best flavor and sweetness.
- This dessert can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated for convenience.
