Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the casserole.

- Prepare baking dish: Transfer the beef mixture evenly into a 9×13-inch baking dish, making sure it’s spread out uniformly.
- Layer tater tots: Place the frozen tater tots evenly on top of the beef mixture, covering it completely.
- Add cheese topping: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the layer of tater tots.
- Bake casserole: Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the tater tots turn golden brown and the casserole is hot and bubbling.
Notes
- Ensure to fully drain the fat from the cooked ground beef to prevent a greasy casserole.
- For extra flavor, you can add garlic powder or paprika to the beef mixture before baking.
- Feel free to swap cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken or celery soup for a different taste.
- Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving to help it set.
