Description

This whimsical Unicorn Fudge recipe combines creamy white chocolate with sweetened condensed milk and vibrant food coloring to create a stunning multi-colored treat. Easy to make and perfect for parties or gifting, this fudge features marshmallow bits and rainbow sprinkles for added texture and festive flair.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 3½ cups white chocolate chips
  • 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp salted butter

Colorings and Toppings

  • Pink food coloring
  • Purple food coloring
  • Blue food coloring (teal recommended)
  • ½ cup marshmallow bits
  • 1 tbsp rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare your Pan: Line an 8×8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it to ensure easy removal of the fudge once set. Set aside.
  2. Melt the Base Ingredients: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and salted butter. Stir continuously until the mixture is fully melted and smooth, ensuring no lumps remain.
  3. Divide and Color the Mixture: Remove the melted chocolate mixture from heat and divide it evenly into three separate bowls. Add a few drops of pink food coloring to one bowl, purple to the second, and blue (preferably teal) to the third. Stir each bowl until the color is evenly distributed.
  4. Layer the Colors: Starting with one color, pour a layer into the prepared pan. Gently spread out the mixture. Repeat this process with the remaining colors, layering them on top of one another. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the colors slightly for a marbled, unicorn effect.
  5. Add Marshmallows and Sprinkles: Sprinkle the marshmallow bits and rainbow sprinkles evenly over the top of the fudge while it is still soft to embed them slightly.
  6. Set the Fudge: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until firm enough to cut cleanly.
  7. Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper, cut it into approximately 15 squares, and serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper for easy removal of fudge from the pan.
  • Be sure to melt the mixture on low heat to avoid scorching.
  • Adjust food coloring amounts to achieve desired vibrancy.
  • For a more festive presentation, feel free to add edible glitter or additional sprinkles.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
